so will pretty much all the bays at strawberry be good to fish by Sunday?

Yes, all the bays along hwy 40 will be good, but still be cautious and drill periodically as you go out. On Wed there was a little patch of open water by the ladders, and in other areas there were some patches you could see were obviously thin (shinny,wet-looking, and as you approached, holes drilled showed much thinner ice). Don't be expecting though that you can go anywhere on the lake - on Wed the majority of Soldier Creek was open water - only the bay by hwy 40 was frozen over (but was plenty thick). There is lots of snow on the ice.

From weather stations' historical data below, and the forecast through Sunday, it is evident that the ice will only be continuing to grow. Wish there was a weather station closer to the berry.
