This article claimed that burbot are native to Wyoming, is this true? I have always thought/ heard that they were illegally introduced and that they were from Asia or some other country. Some clarification from a fellow BFT'er would be nice, ( because I don't trust news reporters)!

Burbot are native to Wyoming, but not on the west side of the continental divide.

The past couple of years everything was ran out of Buckboard marina. There is more info on daggettcounty.org/burbotbash. Entry fee is $3. Registration has been done there in the past as well. Try to be there before 5:30 pm as the price goes up after that.
