let me first say that instead of having my buddy take me, i drove myself and i don't care if he don't invite me again for telling you...
Echo resort; parked on shoulder just north of the resort entrance, fished straight out from there, 20 -25 ft depth for bows and perch. between myself and 7 others, bows were caught mostly with yellow-green and glow jigs tipped with crawlers or wax worms, most suspended anywhere around 10 ft. with a couple near the bottom and top. many of them in the 17" size give or take. (not mine though) must have been about 15 bows caught between all of us.
perch were caught on different types of smaller ice jigs, off the bottom, tiped with crawlers, wax/meal worms. I landed two monsters that both measured 11.5" and 3 others smaller. mine were all caught using an ice jig shaped like a minnow (about 1.25") with a fine short chain link attached with hook at end, intended for perch cause they like to suck in the worm and have small mouths. got it at fish tech last yr. tipped with crawlers.
my 2nd big perch was caught before leaving and i did not get a pic in with the others so there is two pics to show them both. one shows part of the lure used. we were hoping for more perch, i didn't count others but i ended up catching 6, others caught less...still a good day fishing and i got to rip some lips too!
