hit rockport yesterday about 8ish. parked at twin coves and went out to 15 foot mark. myself and two buddies had a blast for the first trip of the year. we used white and green jigs tipped with meal worms, crawlers, and pb. we had a pretty steady bite until we left around noon. kept 3 for the grill. good weather and no wind! good time with good people. let's go again soon. Hey Todd good to hear you finally got out on the hard deck. Sounds like a great trip, thanks for sharing your report.
How did the new auger work? Were you just fishing for trout?
