I took a look at the Live Lake View camera at Deer Creek and the ice is forming from the ramp at the island state park. Doesn't go all the way to the island or even out to the middle of the lake. With the snow and very low temps forecast for this next week I forecast ice thick enough to fish on by next week. [If we don't get any strong winds]

been fishing it for 2 weeks now and fishing is ok not great for 17 to 18 inch bows but you have to walk out 600 yard from the river to get into them

I guess you have to load your stuff and go up there to see that people are ice fishing it. It's froze where that camera can't see. I fished up there and walked all the way across. Good luck
