Went to Soldier Creek today and got there a little late for the Berry, Ice was about 10 inches with only 3-6 inches of snow. Was able to drive the four wheeler all the way into the marina. Went straight across to the cliff area and fishing was pretty good with some great sized Rainbows. We iced about fifteen fish and only 5 were cutts. The fish were around 10 feet down and water was 20 -25. It seemed like the fish was around the rocks, when we was around the flats We caught nothing. They wanted a wax worm on a green curly tail mainly with white also working. Hope this helps.

Do you think a 4x4 truck with chains make it to the marina?

A 4 x 4 truck with chains will make it anywhere. Put chains on all 4 tires and you can go through 5 foot drifts, just go slow so you don't over heat.

wow. Good to hear. I thought the snow would be much deeper. A friend of mine drove over the soldier creek dam road on a sled Friday night and he said it was drifting pretty bad, not fun to pul a loaded sled with a rider on it.

I heard there is still no slush, which is great news!

No doubt that a 4 by 4 would make it with chains. I think a truck with lift and good tires would make it. I saw pavement on some of the road. I think the deepest drift was at the ramp that was less than two feet.
