Led/UV light???
#1
While fishing I have been trying out LED light and UV light to try and glow my plastic grubs. When I cover my face too see if it goes it doesn't glow. Is it just the LED or UV lamp sucks or its just that my fishy friends can see it. I wish my bait can glow like my special head jigs do that are uv 24/7!!!

Are your plastic grubs the glow type? The packages should say glow right on them. If you are using a UV LED light, the grub should glow where you can see it, just like the jig head.

They don't say glow on the package. I thought you could use regular non glow grubs and use a uv light and make it glow for a short period time at least. [crazy]

Sounds good looks like I will just go and get my money back for the cruddy uv flash light and buy some other gear ha ha ha. [cool]

Gosh I'd love too catch a walleye at night ha ha ha.

Just got to buy a 20lbs propane take attachment for my mr buddy heater and Im good for 3 days on the ice XD. No more small propane takes for me. Not worth buying 16.4 oz when you can just hall a 20 lbs tank. Just another way to save money for night fishing ha ha ha [Wink]

Don't take the UV light back, they are well worth the money, unless it does not turn on, you just need some glow jigs. Walleye are tough to catch through the ice, if you can catch one, you are better than most fishermen, good luck.

okay sounds good, so just flash the glow jigs with the uv light and that should make it glow brighter I'm guessing 0.o.

I'm just hoping that dc will freeze up in the deep deep end soon. I'd love to night fish at least with the the species that are in the lake and it's only like 1 hr from my place but it looks like it will take a few more cold snaps for dc to be safe to walk far out in the deep zone. Deepest place I found so far is 35ft .

With the UV light, just hold it on the jig for 30 sec to a min on each side, to get the most charge it will hold, it might take a few minutes but the charge will only last for 10 minutes or so. Usually if it is going to work to draw the fish in, you will get bites right off the bat but the deeper water and fishing at night is where you will really see a difference.

Me too, goddess. Reminded me of the guy who ordered a non-stick fry pan and bellyached because the flip-flop he fried up in it sho-nuff did stick...
