FG Fire Hole conditions?

I have never been to Fire Hole. I was just wondering if anyone can tell me what the road is like to get there from Green River. I want to take my motorhome down there for a few days. If anyone knows if I can take it please let me know. If anyone has ice conditions there and catching rates that would be great as well [laugh]. I want to put a hurtin on some Ling.

The turn off for the road to Firehole is just outside Rock Springs, get a map and it is easy to find. It is usually plowed but drifting snow can be a problem at times. I can't give you any first hand accounts of the road conditions but it is generally in good shape. The last report from one of the guys said the ice was close to a foot thick at Firehole and the catching had been good for ling, as of last week. Hope that help.
