Just took a ride around the lake. It is 5pm and very little steam coming up off the open water. Temp is -8F and went up to a high of -1 today (Sunday). Pretty calm too. Lots of ice (chunks) in Idaho and lots of ice on the west and south sides. Marina completely froze over. What does this mean???? Well the lake is getting close to capping. We need at least another 2 days and nights just like today. I'll keep you posted so stay tuned. Maybe for once (in quite a while) we might, just might have ice for the cisco run. If not, then I hope it blows like a SOB so the ice comes off and we can get back on in boats.

My grandma lives over there and she said it froze over last night. I'm just wondering if the cisco will be running by next monday. I'd love to take my kids then because the following weekend I have to work so I'll miss the disco. I'll just monitor and see updates from BLFG.....

dont think its capped just yet.. the report from yesterday says you can still put a boat in on the east side. looks really close though

Man I am so torn on BL freezing.......The selfish part of me wants it to stay open (Less ice fishing pressure) but the realistic part of me wants it frozen. Ice fishing, cisco run, less cloud covering, etc.
This weekend cabin run here I come.
