Burbot Bash 2013 Screw Up???

Curious to know why the 2013 Burbot Bash was scheduled during the Super Bowl. I'm sure most anglers out there are also football fanatics as well. Scheduling the bash over this weekend was a real oversight in my opinion.

Just load up and go the following weekend, it's the "relay for life" tournament. Burbot only. Check the Wyoming board for more info!! It's pay off's are different but after doing this tournament for a couple years now, i like the way they do it better!!!!

Last year we were home in Weber County on the sofa with a cold one before the game started. We stayed through all the prizes and contest and still made it with plenty of time to spare.

i think they planned it correctly, here is why.

thinking critically it made sense. the folks that scheduled the burbot bash knew that the Bears would not make the playoffs. therefore they decided that any other team that made it to the SB would not be as exciting to watch, so why bore yourself with the rest of the second rate teams, why not catch some fish? next year they said they are going to plan it after the SB because they know the Bears will win it all []
