Mini ice trip

This week I've had some spare time after school and work too ice fish some areas that I know that have a good amount of solid ice. With today I just had to hit my summer spot I found in 2012 and looky here a 25.5 CARP. First carp I've ever pulled out of my little pond.

Thanks for the help. I just got a little on those guys up there. As well I forgot that sun fish have that weird pattern on face by the gill plat

Nice i thought it would be fun to catch carp through the ice. So I tried last week had a nice bite but i missed it.

Ya man it was fun stuff getting that huge head out onto hard deck. Took some time but it was worth it. Especially when your using a light rod .
