Saturday Perch

This weekend can't come fast enough, found 1.5" perch colored Rapala vertical shad rap jigs through BPS and they will be here tomorrow! Every big fish I caught had 1-2" perch in the gut and after watching Mike put on a clinic with his jig, can't wait and use one of these. Hope to see Mike and Birdman on the Ice this weekend.

Look at the Salmo Chubby Darters, They are the most realistic perch immitators out there. I have had good luck with them for the bigger perch and trout.

Had people in three different places today tell be about the big perch, two even told me how to catch em. Think I'll stay home Saturday and head out Monday. Gonna take the gps from my boat along. Went out to Salmon Dam today by the ramp and one bite. Ice is 11 inches. Three other parties there and only two fish caught all day.
