Hyrum tourny fog

The folks fishing the Hyrum tournament started off with crystal clear skies, but then a nice fog deck rolled in from the west off the river bottom. They're under there somewhere.

And now it's gone. Should be a nice day for them.

It was a wonderfull day at the lake even tho I never placed I still caught the hell out of them

I heard the 1st and 2nd place winners won solely on their extreme knowledge of ice fishing

1st and 2nd were both 16.5 inches.

From what I hear the guys won off sheer luck. The one guy was fiddle farting around with a shelter and didn't even know he was getting bit. Some other anglers had to yell at the guy to grab his pole. I think it was on a little Bob the Builder pole too!!

Better sometimes to be more lucky than good. Either way, the payouts for first and second totaled $3100. $1800 for first and $1300 for second. Pretty lucky how two guys from the same group won first and second too, wouldn't you say?

That's pretty that 16.5 inchs won is 1 and 2 the only prizss that won

Mabe luck maybe not. I know some guys who know some guys, who know ho to fish that lake. I would says it's luck created from time spent on that lake learning how to fish and where to fish.

That still doesn't explain the Bob The Builder fishing rod though!![]
