With all the interest in Red Fleet lately, I figured I'd post up my latest trip. My son and I hiked into the area by the dam. Beavers have kept a few beathing holes open and rising water has come through making for some slushy mess in some areas. Ice is about 13-14" with about 8-10" of snow on top. Some edges were very slushy. We caught 16 rainbows and 5 bluegill suspended out over 60 feet of water. Most of the bites came from 10-14' down and we were able to sight fish them. Lots of fun. Bluegill were Red Fleet standard 6-7" and the rainbows a very healthy 11-17".
