Ice fishing @ CJ Strike in SW Idaho?
#1
i've heard that ice fishing at CJ Strike was occurring last week when the temperatures were down in the teens. Is it still safe to ice fish there now that the temps are in the mid to high 30s?

If you want to get a quicker response you should post your question on the Idaho board, here is a link to that board: http://www.bigfishtackle.com/forum/gforum.cgi?forum=25
By the way, welcome to the site.

There was still ice in the Bruneau Arm last Thursday but was unable to get on since the edges were opening up & there was big cracks in the middle too plus the ice was getting pretty rotten [bobSad]

The Bruneau arm is half open water, and there were boats fishing it today. Just saying it isn't an ice fishery anymore...

Doesn't surprise me with what I saw there the other day & with all the warm wind they've had the last couple of days/ betting the ice will be completely gone in the next few days at the most
