Im headed up to the nelle tomorrow. (sunday 2/17/13) We are headed up to the boat launch at hailstone. Im not loooking for any fish information or your secret spots, just ice conditions. Hows the edges in the morning and later in the afternoon. It seems like its been getting warmer lately. Also I have neve fished up in that area so is ther any springs or spots to steer clear of? Thanks in advance!!

We fished north of hailstone in 30 FOW thursday. Did not start until 11:00 and felt we were on the tail end of the bite. Whatever you use tip with perch meat. Edges were solid ice was 15" thick. Bigger perch were tight to brush. Trout were also full of a tiny perch minnows.
