Read an article on yuba today. It said that the lake was filling up and they planted trout there in oct. They said that perch would be planted in nov sometime. They still did not say when walleyes would be stocked again. They said one day but that does not sound like that day would be soon. Maybe they are going to make yuba a trout lake?[pirate]

There not going to plant walleye until the perch population has had time to establish itself. If they stock walleye the same time as the perch the perch pop. will never take off and it will be the same way it was befor. The trout are only in there to get the fishery up and going again.

Trout is walleye food depending on its size. Yuba gets warm in the summertime, rather inhospitable for trout.
