need some help deciding on a camera to get any suggestions on brand ect....please let me know

I have used an entry level Marcum extensively this year, and it's been awesome. No problems whatsoever, just make sure you purchase a planer before you head out to manage the camera itself. I don't have color, nor can I record, but I purchased it to make fishing perch more fun for my 3 year old, and now I have him absolutely hooked and he always wants to head out.

Remember, flashers are better for finding fish, cameras for watching fish react. Each are very different, and both can be very useful.

I just picked up the Aqua-Vu micro. I took it out last weekend and it is awesome for the price. I paid $269 for it at Cabelas. Its color, and the image quality is great. I also like how portable it is. I can fit it in my coat pocket.

Bought a Marcum VS825SD with an 8" screen a month ago, even though it's a bit pricey but other than like pretty much all underwater cameras that the visibility at night or in low light conditions isn't that great I still love it plus the Marcum I bought came with a free paner which is a bonus [bobhappy].

I also have a Fish TV i've had for about 3 years with only a 5" black & white screen & it don't have the fantsy stuff the Marcums do but it's still a good camera for someone that doesn't want to spend a whole lot of money on one but if you can afford a nicer camera I recommend getting a Marcum!

Just after xmas i reviewed reviewed reviewed, must have looked at every option then decided on the vexilar fs2000 and could not be happier. 7" color wide screen 480 lines of res. 80' of cable. Video out for recording purposes. The image quality is stunning . Had it out a dozen times or so and simply could not be happier.
