willard ice/Bear Lake Tagged Fish?
#1
Is it gone?

Last time I was at bear lake I caught a tagged cut. The tag said to return it somewhere in garden city, but the fin wasn't clipped so I let it go. I wrote down the tag #. Anyone know what I should do with the info?

Try giving Scott Tolentino a call he is the biologist for this area and he will take care of you! This should be his number during regular business hours (435)946-8501 if you dont get him it will ring to the answering machine which is the bear lake fishing report, just keep trying to get him he is in and out of the office all the time.

As of 7:30 AM this morning Willard is still capped with a small exception in the North Marina. I drive by every day and can't believe it's not open water at this point, but it is hanging tough to the hard deck.

Thanks much for the info. I'd be there right now if it was open. I bet those walleye will be in full spawn real soon.
