ice conditions at Deer Creek
#1
She is a deep blue. If we could just get them people from Utah county to blow a little harder.Lots of open water in Wallsburg bay. They must be catching fish cause there is about 10 cars there today. I will give another shout out as soon as I see it blown off.

Let's hope for all the ice to go away so the tube of death can catch on the island to find some perch and maybe a bass. As well it look like the water level is doing alright for now at 88%.

This website is help full to know whats the water level in some lakes in utah.

One good wind storm maybe the rain tomorrow will play havoc with it. If I was to guess 3 to 7 days.

If you emptied all those bags of salt in your garage, Glen, and dumped 'em in DC, we'd be fishin' tomorrow.

I agree with Mr. Pikeman the island should be open by next week.

Looks good to me. It sounds like I have to toss some money into the air for some more fly crawdad patterns ha ha ha. I just wished strawberry could be in the same condition as dc [Sad].

Here is the great wind update. It looks like the 20-40 mpg wind will clean up the scraps of ice today. [angelic]

I drove by about noon and she was cracking up pretty good. That was the north wind blowing today. If we get any south wind I believe it will be clear.

Well I'm just hoping that the ice will be open by this weekend or next week. For sure i'm stocked for beginning of summer as well for now how the water is looking let's hope it stays because there's some spots I want to hit so bad that I couldn't because of the dry season last year. Had days pulling out some nice 15" 1 1/2 lbs perch.

[#0000FF][cool]They've "gruesome" over the winter. They were much smaller in late summer last year.

There were very few perch over 12" caught from Deer Creek last year...even by those who know how to fish it.

Ya they were very few 12" perch after I slayed them last year ha ha ha. Maybe I have to check out some old spots this year and pull more big ones if there's any left overs after last years slaying ha ha ha. [cool]

[#0000FF][cool]You might wanna get a new ruler and new scale too.

Nothing personal but you DO tend to be excitable and exaggerate a little.

Estimations after the fact are always subject to "angler memory". And a strange thing about that is that it never makes the fish smaller or fewer.

I caught TONS of 10 lb eyes out of there last year. So I believe the 15" perch.
