hit utah lake today just to see if we could get big fish other then at the berry yup there is a few in utah lake all caught legal around noon today hooked a few more and they where released (by the way this is why people dont post pic's of waleye )

Those are some fine looking fish! How do you even cast in all that wind today? Maybe there is less windy at the lake than in Provo?

i was thinking we was going to get trashed for keeping big females and i am surprised that didnt happen and i had to show my bait works for every thing if it's fished right
for my two cents worth there are many more waleye that i have seen sence they closed the provo but the quality is not as good any more there are some big ones but not as many as back in the day i personal think they could stand to be thined out a bit this will be my only trip for the big eyes im back to the berry now trying to hook the cut over 26 pounds i know is in there i just rather fish for trout [signature]

she was a nice fat fish too we didnt weigh her but i would bet she was close to 12 the other one was 27.5 inch and looks small next to the big girl
