Anybody fished the ogden lately, I have never fished it and looking to go tomorrow morning, if you can steer me in the right direction on where I can and should fish that would be appriciated, pm's welcome!

I went yesterday morning. I fished from wall avenue west... I worked hard and covered alot of ground and only caught 3 browns. You might want to try up in the canyon. I wish I had done that. Good luck.

Thanks J but I didnt end up going but will be soon! Is access up the canyon pretty easy or hard to find, we need to get out again sometime, I still owe you a trip out on the boat!

Access in the canyon is pretty good. Anywhere you see a pull off is usually ok.. Also you can fish behind the Alaskan Inn or At the Oaks Restaurant. Both of those places have The DNR fishing signs.

So are those really the only two spots in the canyon? I fish the lower ogden quite a bit and am unfamiliar with the canyon. I've heard good things.

Not at all.. There are tons of places to fish in the canyon. Those are just two of the official walk in access spots. Like I said.. There are tons of pull offs. Its a little tricky right now because of the construction but theres plenty of fishable water up there.

hmm. I'll have to try it when the construction is done. I've tried by the alaskan inn but it seems as though if you go up river from there its all private property. I've been mainly fishing the section from washington to harrison. Thanks for the info
