Hi, I'm new to the forum and to Utah fishing. I live in Northern Utah county and I have no idea where to fish. I don't have a boat so I'm fishing from shore. Can anyone steer me in the right direction? I'm not asking for anyone to reveal their secret fishing holes just hoping for a little guidance.
I prefer to fish for bass since it's more active than throwing a hook in the water and waiting for something come but I'm open to fish for anything and everything.
Thanks in advance

You will need to wait a Little while for bass get active again unless you willing make a drive to further lakes. Once they do hit deer creek, jordanelle and even utah lake for some good white bass action. In the meantime grab your fly rod and start chucking streamers and buggers for the Stillwater trout! Tibble fork has been great off the shore and don't miss ice off on strawberry this year either!

Thanks for the welcome. I don't do the fly fishing thing. I do have a fly rod and reel that I got in a trade though. Maybe I need to look into learning how to do it.

I moved down from Idaho right before winter so I didn't get much fishing in.

Welcome to Utah and the forum. Bass fishing still a little off right now, but if you do some you definitely want to slow the presentation down. Utah lake best right now for any bass action whether it is white bass or not. Most bass are still deep due to cold water.
