I drove up to Lost Creek after work to see if the ice was coming off yet. Its just barely starting to peel back from the shore.

The end by the boat dock has a lot more open water there was a guy in a pontoon in the middle.

I did a lot of walking around in the mud and tried a lot of different spots. The guys past the boat dock where the inlet comes in were catching mostly rainbows using bait. I was tossing out a mouse pattern fly behind a bubble but I kept breaking my bubbles on the ice. I forgot to bring the fancy Styrofoam covered ice off bubbles I got from Fish Tech last year.

Then I started throwing out some spinners and tube jigs.

As the sun started to go down the fishing got really hot. At some point I was catching fish on every cast.

Almost everything I caught was a cutthroat. The cutts had some good fight to them and I even picked up a couple of rainbows on my 3" tube jig. I only caught 1 tiger which was just over 21"

I'm surprised the tigers are already getting that big in there. I thought last year was the first year they stocked them.

I didn't bring my camera today and had to use my phone so the pics kind of suck this time.
