Looking forward to your report. I checked the forecast and it looks like we're in for a good stretch of days in the high 60s, low 70s so the crappie and bluegills should be moving shallow soon if the warm weather holds up.

There were fish to be caught, at least the Finder said they were there, but they didn't like my offerings, for sure. Caught one male 7" perch at 8:30am and had 4 or so wrom stealers the rest of the day.

Never anchored up, probably needed to and I spent a lot of time just kinda trolling and exploring.Not familar with CJ at all from a boating perspectve so studied the finder and taveled most of cottonwood area, Jack Creek is shallow and the mud goes on for ever, and went into the narrows maybe 500 yds and fished the north shore line. Not sure I like it in there. Lots of wakes, ya know what I mean?

The day was very awesome weatherwise and my catchin was lousy, fishin was good! Funny how I can do so well over a 6" hole! Makes ya wonder?
