I haven't heard what's happening there. Is it one of our members? Anyone heard anything?

Robbie,
I talked to Park Service this morning to ask if I could help as my fishing boat has side imaging sonar, but they stated all was under control with all of search and rescue boats on the water. I haven't heard anything since. Hopefully, they will recover his remains soon for his families sake. Hard to figure what happened, but we should wear inflatable PFD's when we are on the water, especially if one is alone. Life is short.....which makes fishing much more precious than work and almost everything else!!! [signature]

I hope so to Steve. It's a
thing. I lost my Grandpa while he was fishing alone. If he would have been wearing a PFD he may have been with us a lot longer. They never did an autopsy on him, he fell forward in a canoe, found him the next day I believe. They presumed he died of a heart attack but a PFD sure wouldn't have hurt to have on. Hopefully they find this man and give some peace to his family.[signature] |
