This Evenings Fishing Trip
#1
Took a quick trip out to the south fork this evening and had a personal best out there.
Fished till after dark and caught three browns and a cutthroat. All were pretty close to the same size. I didn't have a tape on me so I'm not sure how big they were but they were the biggest that I have caught out there so far. All four were caught on a sinking line with a small green articulated woolly bugger pattern. They were just demolishing my fly. One of the browns took the fly before it had even started sinking. I didn't get any action until just before sunset. All in all it was pretty fun evening. Here are a few pics. I didn't get a picture of the last brown.

Very nice. I have to say I am jealous. I haven't been out in over 6 weeks. That is a record for me.

I try to get out once a week at least. Even if its just out to Twin Bridges area. I think I'm gonna venture over to the Henry's Fork next time I go. Haven't really fished it much yet.

Good fishing man! Good looking fish. What were the water conditions like last night? My dad was out on Saturday and said it was a little muddy and had lots of moss floating down.

It didn't seem muddy but it did have a lot of moss floating in it. If i stopped getting hits then I looked at my fly and typically it had a bunch of moss built up on it. Pulled it all off and almost like clock work was getting hits again. I'm hoping to get out again tomorrow or friday after work.
