Wyoming Flaming Gorge Reciprocal
#1
Where can I purchase my Wyoming Reciprocal Stamp besides Ace Hardware in Green River? It closes at 8:00 and I will not be there in time to purchase one. Anywhere in Kemmerer or Cokeville, someplace else in Green River that is open longer? Wyoming needs to get with the times and offer them online like Utah does.

Try the Walmart in Evanston. Only a guess though.

[#000000]You can get the reciprocal stamps and parking permits at the Maverick on your way through Mountain View (24/7). They can also be purchased at the Lucerne Valley Store (gift shop) right there at the marina.[/#000000]

The Walmart in Evanston does sell them 24 hours a day. The employees aren't very bright and they usually have to work in packs. See if you can round up at least four of the employees. This seems to be the magic number.

There is a store in Green river that sells liquor and guns that also sells reciprocal passes. These people are a step up from Walmart employees but will still try and sell you a out of state permit. You have to explain to them that the reciprocal stamp is the $10 one. After a bit of coaxing they should sell you one. If I remember right this place is open until 10pm. I can't remember the name of the store but it should be easy to narrow down as most liquor stores don't sell guns also. Then again this is Wyoming so maybe that will be a little harder to narrow down.Good luck.

Thanks for your help, looks like the Mountain View Maverick is my easiest choice especially with the late hours.

The Kum n Go in Kemmerer sells licenses and are open around the clock.

Call them to make sure that they have the stamps also.

Seems to me that your just scared of any business that sells guns and liquor in the same place.

But he sure knows where he can get "loaded."

(The "pack of four" line is priceless. True, too.)

I am very scared of stores with the best of both worlds being sold. My wallet can't handle that type of excitement.
