fish lake ice?

Anybody got info on ice conditions and any fishin reports?

Two Saturdays ago I was there. I caught about 15ish splake/rainbows biggest at 19" a limit of perch, but no lake trout. The ice was solid on the edges no slush and 22" thick (bad time to find out the blades were dull). there was open water over a spring about the middle of the lake right next to shore. I fished just south of Bowery resort. There was only one other tent on the ice with me all day!!

Sounds like its golding up I just want one more hard deck trip I think saturday we are going to head that way thanks for the info

A friend of mine was up there with his kids yesterday. He said the edges were starting to get soft, but the fishing was good. Said they caught 60-70 fih. Rainbows, splake and perch. I didn't make it down. I would like to tomorrow as well. We shall see. Weather may be a factor in the decision to go.
