Ashton Reservoir

Just curious if anybody has ever been out on Ashton reservoir in a float tube or pontoon. Went and took a look at it Saturday and noticed that there still is a current at the county dock but wasn't sure if it was slow enough for someone to get back up to the dock.

They drained it way down for most of the summer to do repairs on the Dam . I don't think they have restocked it since . Curt G.

This. There has been work on the dam for the last three years that is finishing up. There are some great holes just above where the water stops backing up above the res there. Some monster bows and in the fall there are some big browns that come up out of the res.
