"while how often do they patrole it " [mad]

are you kidding me its closed just stop fishing and move on i showed some the signs they still didnt care and with no support for DNR i guess its open if you want it to be ive been waiting for the water to cover the lower cement agian to make it leagal because i know what i can catch there but by the time those of us thet do care about the laws can fish this it will be fished out [bobSad]

That's a drag. Sounds like the Willard inlet business.
You'd like if they have a "closed season" the DNR would take the time to ensure it.
Call to the hotline? Sorry the "responses" were so negative.

Can relate - have a vacant lot across from me that "some" think is good fodder for digging their way up the hillside. Might be time for some more "aggressive" tactics. My docile rocks, and cinder block barricades have met movement and abuse.

Might be time to call in the cavalry! Hmm, wonder if they'll respond. Is it illegal to shoot someones tires out for being a total idiot? I just don't wanna put down spikes - there's some nice doggies that take walks up that-a-ways.

Start taking pictures and getting license plate numbers. Keep sending them to the DWR until they do something. That, or tell them to go fish the inlet at Willard to get their illegal-fishing fix. It's part of today's society where it's only illegal if you get caught.

I reported someone for fishing closed water last friday and there was a very swift response from the DWR. Maybe if there were June Suckers in Strawberry, they'd react faster.

Me and my son were there last thursday. Only ones on the ice, but 3 different groups in the ladders. I told them it was closed as well, they didnt give a sh**. Yeah, I called. Dont know if anyone showed as I left right after that. I say we just set land mines in the closed areas. Anyway, fishing was ok. 16 cutts, all in the slot in 22' of water. 1/4oz tubes tipped with crawler or mealworm.
