[#005000]Hopefully, after a week of sea trials and problem eradication, the Wounded Warrior boat “Freedoms Dream” is ready to start fulfilling her mission, that is; to provide fishing opportunities to disabled veterans, children with disabilities and others bound to wheelchairs.[/#005000]

[#005000]During the days and weeks ahead the boat will leave hermooring place at Utah lake State Park on Utah lake several times a week insearch of fishing for those she was built to serve.[/#005000]

[#005000]She can accommodate 18 individuals including Captain andMate or 6 wheelchairs plus assisting staff. These trips are free as our way of saying Thank You to those who so valiantly served our nation and to share with the special needs children and others with disabilities the wonders of the outdoors. We will provide everything necessary for the days trip at no charge to those aboard including, rods, reels, bait, water and often lunch or a shore Bar B Que, depending on scheduling.[/#005000]

[#005000]We will need volunteers to be aboard to assist with the fishing to make this project work. Many of you have already shown a desire tocome along and help. Unfortunately, during the hectic final days of preparation I have misplaced many of your names and contact information. If you can help, please go to our new web page and fill out the volunteer sheet and I or one of our staff will get back to you.[/#005000]

All I can say is - way to go man!!
wish I was closer. Great cause, great way to go at it, nice ride! May the gods of goodwill Smile upon you (an temper the evil WIND!)

I can only think my brother would have loved such a trip and adventure. That is quite the ride!!! Seen a serious houseboat behind my work. Can't help but wonder if it's being stripped or built up, wish I had the quid to take on such a project!

Hope your adventureres have good safe outings! Cheers for such a grand cause!
