I was at Rockport Sunday and noticed signs that said there were special fishing regulations, but checking the 2013 Guidebook, Rockport is not even listed. Are there really special regs there?

Statewide limits apply at rock port, they never remove signs when regs change lol. It's six bass no size limit, 50 perch and 4 trout.

That's what I wondered, the signs do look old and they probably just didn't remove them when regs changed. Thanks.

Did you have any success on Rockport? I'm trying to decide if I should go to Rockport or Jordonelle.

I was afraid someone would ask that. Actually I'm going to be camping up there in a couple of weeks and I just drove up to check it out, and didn't fish, but there were a lot of people fishing from boats and shore, and not many fish being caught. That was Sunday 4/20. It was quite breezy and cool. The water level looks like it's WAY down, but I'm not familiar with Rockport.

Thanks for the responses. I think I'll try Jordonelle and report.
