I came from Arizona where a lot of rivers were seasonal or too hot for coldwater fish so most of them had warmwater species. I have been wondering what warmwater rivers are there in Utah? I think it might be interesting to catch something like a bass or catfish out of a river. I know about the Jordan a little but are there others?

The Lower Green River, starting say around Vernal, Sevier River, and Bear River are the ones that come to mind. Others might have more to contribute !!

I'd second (or third?) the Bear River, and yup - there's catfish (really big ones up north! [:p]), crappie, large-small-mouth bass, bluegill, sunfish, walleye, even trouts.

The Cub River also.

We have what probably count more as cold-water rivers - the Logan, Blacksmith Fork, Little Bear. They all kinda dump in together into Cutler Reservoir/Marsh, then dump down the dam, and on to the Bird Refuge.

If you're ever up Cache Valley way - glad to share a venture.
