The storms kept me from working, so I took some of my boys and went to shore fish Winder. The cold front didn't promise much, but as the adage goes: 'a bad day of fishing is better than a good day of anything else'.
So we fished from one end to the other, casting amonst the trees and shrubs. I think I snapped my leader 4 different times, what with all the timber I managed to wrap up. [mad]
The dam end was a ceaseless gale, and bites were hard to come by with how dirty the water was from the chop.
My boys caught zero - quickly losing interest and opting to eat all our snacks and be as loud as they could while entertaining themselves...
I wound up with 11 LMB, with an average size of 9-10". Rather pathetic, but better than sitting at home, staring out the rain-streaked windows, and wishing I was fishing...
