Pfffft, says you. I guess they're easy to tie, but for me at least, tying one that will actually catch a fish is not so easy.

Those flies look solid though, very nice.

I hear ya.. The articulated ones were actually a pain to cast because I put to much weight on them. They were experiments..so....back to the drawing board I guess.

Pineview??? Went there today. I caught around 10 crappie.. Can't remember exactly. and 3 smallmouth. pretty much all on a purple leech. Ill be adding one or two of the crappie pics to the contest board later. The bass weren't super impressive biggest was maybe 10". So didn't take pics of the bass.

Like the Purple Showgirl! Personally, I don't use the whole Marabou feather, just peel off fibers. Less is more in most cases I have found. Look how thin a Clouser looks.
And that looks to imitate a leech which is very thin. Plus you will get more movement.
