A friend and I are toying with the idea of hitting Pineview on sat morning with a rowboat. We will be in search of a couple pf muskies. We have never caught a musky in Pineview so we are extremely limited with ideas.
Would someone have any pointers for us such as best launching spot ( the boat is too heavy to lift ourselves, we will need a ramp), best time of day, closest spot to row to for possible success, etc?
Thanks!

I've only caught 2 and that was trolling with big rapalas and steel leaders. Also know a guy who caught one on a medium swimbait, I wouldn't try personally damn things are too expensive. Please make sure and do a search here for proper handling techniques for TM.
Cemetery Point and Spring Cove were the spots for us. Both times Pineview was at really high water, vegetation and trees were the ticket. Good luck and watch out for the power squadron in your rowboat.

Limited experience here but try launching at cem point and pounding the banks near by there. Go early before it gets super windy. Rowing back against the wind might be harsh. Also, I would really invest in one of those fish cradles and some really long pliers to safley release that Muskie you are going to catch. Seriously.
