Lews Reels
#1
So I ordered a Lews fishing reel last summer after outdoor life rated it a great fishing reel. Last night however I was clumsy and broke the bail arm on it[mad]. So I called Lews Customer Service department today and to my surprise I actually got a hold of a person, (shocker I know). What was awesome was how they handled everything. I was transferred to another Customer Service Agent and he helped me tremendously. He took all my info and is sending the part out today. Now I thought that it would cost me a few bucks because I ordered it online last summer and didn't have any documentation, didn't matter. He didn't even care how it broke. Then he took it a step further and said he drew me a diagram of how the bail and line wheel go back together and put his business card in with the shipment and told me he would walk me through it over the phone if I had any questions. Free of charge, all of it! Couldn't believe it. They have a customer for life.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Lews reels. I only fish lews both baitcasters and spinning. They are a sponsor of the UVU fishing team and they have always been there for us as a team as well. I caught my personal best on a Lews, same with my son, same with my wife, and same with several on the team...I know the reel has little to do with hooking a big fish, but I can attest, it sure has a lot to do with landing them Smile

There is a lot to be said about customer service. I'm impressed and I don't even own a Lews reel.

I just bought my first Lews reel about a month ago (Speed Spool baitcaster) and I love it. I even caught a nice 18" smallie on it the other day. So far I'm loving it, and it's nice to hear they have such great customer service if anything goes wrong with it.
