Tried to beat the heat
#1
Tried to beat the heat of today by going to higher altitudes. We decided upon launching from jordanelle for some afternoon small mouth fishing. Managed a couple 14 inches and a bunch of small guys. Good way to get out of the heat of the valley. Smile

Dude, I was at 9500k elevation today, and it was still hot. I bet it was an oven at Jordanelle! And I basically live in an attic. Tonight I'm sleeping with a bag of ice in my pillow..

Nice fish!

It is definitely hot here but it doesn't shake a stick at east coast heat and humidity... you can't even escape from it there, just sweat it out!

I don't know I have only fished it from my boat but seeming if you wanted to walk a little to get away from people you could probably do good because I found the bass shallow yesterday. Like I almost wouldn't catch unless I casted my jig and hit the shoreline with it then brought it to the boat. Most bass were within a couple feet of shore.
