Strawberry???

So I went up to Strawberry yesterday evening to get some crayfish for a boil today...I kids were catching crayfish so I thought I'd throw out a line as far as I can...

I'm not a trout fisherman so I decided to throw out the usually rookie baits ( powerbait, salmon eggs and worms) I kept on getting little bites here and there and every time I set it nothing so I decided to wait for harder bites and when they came I set it and still nothing...So my question is..Do you think those were trout hits or is it just the crayfish messing with baits???

My guess would be chubs. They love to pick off baits.

Crawdads! if they were chubs you would more than likely have caught at least one.
