Soldier Creek Bound
#1
Cuddy Buddy and I are headed to SC for the weekend to try and chase the Kokes one more time before we take the new rig to the Gorge. We have a slip reserved and plan on spending the night on the water this time.

Does anyone have intel on the how the dad catching has been? Wondering if I should even bother with traps...

The crawdads are ridiculous right now. We've been over a few times with a bunch of young kids and filled 5 gallon buckets up within 30-45 minutes. Chicken on a string with butterfly nets is the method of choice. We threw out some traps but they were far slower than the chicken. They are crawling out of the water on the boat ramp after dark.

Sure would like to see more people obeying the law and not transporting them live though...
