Went up to Mantua in search bluegills again. Put a nightcrawler on an ultralight rod with 4 lb. test and got better results on my hook sets. Reeled in about 10 fish, unfortunately only one of which was a keeper, and it was a sunfish. Hooked 1 small 'gill, about 4 perch, 4 sunfish and a small LMB for good measure.
