Rockport river onto Echo ???Ive
#1
I've been working up in park city.. I also go into hoytsville & chalk creek.. I've been seeing lot of rising fish all over that river that comes out of Rockport.. Looks sweet.. I have fished above coalville and done fairly good for cutts and bows.. I've also fished the river down from the coalville exit.. It was in jan. with deep snow with clear skinny water. Not luck.. My question is why isn't any one fishing the river going into Echo reservoir now ?? With the reservoir being so low the river channel now is quit long.. I know there are nice bows in echo.. It would seem to me that that river would have some people fishing it.. But nope.. I drive up and down twice to four times daily.. Is it all private or just now fish ??

Unless there are fish in spawn mode they will not likely be utilizing the sterile lake-bottom river channel. No plants, no bugs, few baitfish. Plus you will likely sink to your knees out in the mudflat!
