Slow at the Berry....
#1
Hit Strawberry on Friday, fished Renegade and the Narrows. Fishing was slow most of the day I am sure due to the near 100* temps. Caught 20 between the two of us using White tube jigs and White Marabou jigs in 1/4 oz. fishing actually picked up around 3pm which is odd, found fish suspended over 50+ feet of water.

Also got a video and some pics of three nice bucks swimming across the inlet of the narrows, pretty cool!

Yeah, I saw them from a ways off and thought they were Geese, as we got closer at 45 MPH had to tell my budddy who was driving to hit the brakes, that would be a bad deal to hit three deer in the middle of a lake!

Thanks for the report and pics Remo. We found the same results when we were there the same day as you. We trolled the Soldier creek side, mainly targeting the kokes but we also picked up 15 or so cutts and bows. Here is one of the kokes we caught.

Slow if you say so guys.[Wink] With how many people get skunked there on any given day, both of you guys certainly appear to have your stuff down.

Remo, in that 1st pic it looks like your about to lift a piece of heavy furniture. That must be one heavy fish. I'll have to add "the deer spooked all the fish" to my excuse book.[Wink]

WP2, that kokanee looks like it swam to the berry all the way from the gorge......nice fish!
