Anyone have success at Pineview lately for Bass and want to go fish on a boat this Sunday?
With the lack of structure in the water right now it has been difficult if you don't know where to look.
If you are interested let me know. I will be leaving from SLC valley around 5:30 AM and all I ask is you cover half of the gas.

I will be out there Saturday. I want to try to go fish Sunday too but I don't know if I'll make it out both days. So you changed your mind about going to Willard haha?

I went there yesterday and fished the Narrows from my kayak. The good news is that the power squadron is much depleted now that school has started - at least on weekdays. And the water is clean with good visibility.
The bad news was that my lunch MRE was more exciting than the fishing. All I caught were dink smallies - on a crawdad crankbait. None worth keeping. Painted quite a few schools of what I presume were crappies near bait balls, but no takers.

I don't think the narrows is the place for bigger bass. I hit it last weekend and small fish hiding in the the rocks is all I caught.
Did have a 5 second hookup with a tiger but it snapped my line instantly.

You are probably right about the Narrows, CBR. But the main lake is no place for a guy in a little kayak, either.

Agreed! I was narrow bound as well because I was in my float tube.

I agree, but I have seen some big fish caught in the narrows. With the water dropping so low who knows. I have a couple spots that have still been good though, maybe if I see you Sunday we can check them out.

I've decided you guys are a bunch of sissys! Fished in the rain and caught some nice fish.
