I have a friend who's mother loves to eat Bluegill Sunfish.
I don't have the time or $ to travel to Pelican so I am looking for a place locally that I can catch 10-15 Large bluegills as a gift to her. I don't want to take too many so their needs to be a ton of them. Please let me know if you have seen any cruising the shore where you fish.

In my experience, big bluegills don't cruise the shore. The truly "bull" gills are found where deep water meets the edge of a shallow, weedy flat - especially if a hard and soft bottom meet there, also.

Im not sure where you live but utah lake holds some nice bluegills all of the harbors have some in them, just fish along the shore line with small jiges tipped with worms

Try Mantua. For sheer numbers Mantua wins heads down. It may take a while to find any big fish.

Oh you know the pond! We fly fished the pond of Bluegill but i'm sure you dont wanna take any out of there. Utah lake is probably your best bet.

Yes by the state park. Last year I caught a few nice 8" BG. Use 1/16 oz jig head with a tail grub or worm and a bobber.
Haven't heard of any pan fish actions in any harbors lately especially I tried fly fishing a few weeks ago in AF harbor and nothing in there.

I've caught a few big ones out of the Salem Pond. However, if you're looking to keep a few it's not your best bet as the possession limit is two.
