Not Again? Sorry! Weeb, 9/17
#1
Wasn't going to post this, but back slappin ego, did it again. Guess I need my pets.
Yep, why go anywhere else when you can catch these guys? Did something a little different. Ducked a weaved and got on the E. side and waded the rocks, rifles and boulders. Almost lost it several times, but, it was worth it. This guy is an example of what I caught. Caught him at Evil's hanging limb spot. He knows. W/o Sparky the fish would have been still hanging. Sparky led him to a spot that he could recover. Yeah, I lie a lot, but some truth in it. [Image: icon_e_wink.gif]
Looked at the rain to the south, dark clouds all around, thru sticks (a must) and left early. [Image: icon_cry.gif] Water flow at 234scfs and chocolate.

Nice bow Fred, thanks for sharing your report and pic. You should never have to say your sorry for posting a report about something you love to do, keep them coming. How long was that trout?

Thanks, you're one of the few that keep me posting. When you don;t get many responses, it makes you wonder, why bother. Sorry for the sucking my thumb and stuff, but ya know, it comes time to stop if it ain't adding much to the forum. The price of getting old and not experiencing stuff that others are interested in. I'll keep on, keeping on though until ?

You should hit other waters. If your always fishing at weber your close to pineview, rockpot, east canyon, and echo but nice job on the bow [laugh]

Ya it's a nice size but might be fun to chase after a different specie for once [laugh].

Your not the only one Fred, it happens to all of us, no matter what you are posting about. I've seen post with several hundred views with only 1 or no replies. I think you can judge the interest in your post by the number of views but there are many reasons folks don't reply.

Because at times all members feel no one is interested in their post, it would be nice if more members would reply to post that do not have any replies. I think we all want to feel like what we have to say has value and it really takes very little time to post something like, "Thanks for posting your report". I hope all that read this will help contribute to this forum by considering what I have said, thanks.

Yeah that spot made me famous! It was actually my one and only attempt at "fish levatation". Classic moment. Really the trick is the cast!

But on a serious note I think the club should make an exception and allow you to have a fishing buddy with you. We don't want you to drown in the pursuit of the slime rockets!

I love reading about other people's adventures. It encourages me to branch out to other bodies of water and chase other species. I do need to follow WH's advice and comment more to let people know their posts are appreciated.
Nice fish, btw.

Absolutely keep posting ! I like hearing about that area cuz I can access the river not far below where you fish it on some private property ( not the walk in place ). Pictures of the water are especially helpful just to judge level and clarity. We've been catchin browns and bows through there all summer, even with the chocolate milk.Come October the levels drop and clarity gets crystal clear. I love that....although this Oct is going to be scary low.

My pc and phone let me stay logged in at all times. I like it that way. Easy to come back and post regularly.[cool]
