I watch a video off youtube about how to tie craw dad patters and it gave me a great idea with this certain feathers I got from my dad had never been touched and finally came into use.
What do you all think about them???

Ha ha ha swords blurry but if you want to donate me $500 so I can get a nice cannon camera I would really appriciate it.
Wish I had the money to go to a main lake and test it out if the bass like it but at the moment I'm broke till the job confirms my drug test [laugh].

Dang it [:/].
Ya when I get more money in my pocket to buy fly tying gear I might tie a few clouser and hopefully catch something off one so far I haven't even caught one off of them.

Results are in. I went on the Jordan river to see if any bass will play and manage one small LMB.

You want to take me to dc this week to see more results. I'm broke and waiting for job confirmation on the drugs test so I don't have any money [laugh]. Lucky I got 2 more interviews so I'm probably with be having fun with 2 part time jobs soon.

That's great! Now it's time to start tweeking the fly so you can catch more than one.
Not trying to burst any bubbles, you are doing great. I think I even still have some of my "throw it together with what I have" flies from way back. Think they caught a fish.
But I started changing them to what I noticed they wanted in way of color, size, shape till I come up with one that catches ever trip.
Some fish are just hungry and will hit anything. I can't tell you how many fish I have caught off a fly that has been totaled till there is just a few wraps of thread left.
As for your crayfish, are you fishing it off the bottom? Most are heavy weighted and tied hook up.

I understand what you saying to me[laugh]
Yes I am fishing them on the bottom. I wrap 1/3 of the body in .030 lead wire to give it small sinking rate.
