[#0000FF]Haven't been recently. Thanks Mama Nature.

Tried it the end of August and found a few perch in 14 feet of water. Not many. And the spots I did well late last fall were already high and dry in the low water.

Mid October last year I found good numbers of perch in 30 to 35 feet of water...feeding on baby perch. Since the water is so much lower this year it will probably take some searching to find the fish. My best results the past two years have been between the quarry and the dam...over flooded sage flats where the baby perch go for cover. But there is lots of that kind of habitat in the north arm of the lake too. Not sure what the depths will be like up there. Probably pretty shallow very far north of the Hailstone launch area.

Also had a decent trip early in November last year and the perch had moved into 40 to 45 FOW...but in the same general areas. You know where I mean.

Not in my plans for next week but probably the week after I will be making that long hike down the PWC ramp...and the long kick over to (sometimes) productive spots. But I always start prospecting right off the shoreline just west of the PWC ramp. I have found some good schools in there during the fall...and again under the ice.

Always gotta use the "bible system"...seek and ye shall find (maybe).
