I took my non-fishing daughter and her friend to Deer Creek last evening for a quick trip (he's headed on a two-year non-fishing excursion in a couple weeks).
They must have just planted more bows up there because as soon as we found the right lure it was constant fishing with 12"-ish planters keeping us busy (had a triple once).
We lost one very nice bow (18"+) right at the boat.
None of that was exciting to me (I let them reel in all the fish with the exception of the pole I grabbed for the triple) but for them it was great.
And my non-fishing daughter even had a fun and will at least consider returning now.
"Mission" accomplished!
